ABSTRACT
The article explores potential solutions to the earnings visibility question covering the merger and acquisition deals market. Lawrence Golub, president of mid-market lender Golub Capital, emphasized the importance of earnings visibility stating without it, nobody can find out the worth of a business. A potential solutions cited to address the visibility question is to work with a company's existing lenders to transfer the existing debt to the a new deal.
