The article reports on a survey of private equity funds conducted by Pepperdine University in Malibu, California to determine funding opportunities and their performance. The results indicate that 45% of respondents had a time horizon of less than three years to commit the capital remaining in their latest funds, with 23% having less than two years to put the capital to work. The majority expects exits to come from sales to other private equity groups or public companies.
