ABSTRACT
Composite C-MoS[sub 2] and C-WS[sub 2] nanostructures were produced by pyrolysing H[sub 2]S/N[sub 2] over a mixture of MoO[sub 3] (or WO[sub 3]) and carbon particles/nanotubes. MoS[sub 2] particles embedded in the nanotubes were also observed occasionally. © 2000 American Institute of Physics.
