ABSTRACT
The article reports on the invitation from the British Veterinary Association to its members for their comments and opinions on the report by Philip Lowe regarding the availability of veterinary expertise in farm animal practice in Great Britain. In his report, Professor Lowe suggested that the veterinary profession needed to renew its relationships with the government and clients. He also recommended the establishment of a Veterinary Development Council to guide the development of services.
