ABSTRACT
The article reveals the plan of Cisco Systems, a software conglomerate, to acquire privately held Tidal Software in a bid to boost its data center strategy. According to Gary Moore of Cisco, the acquisition deal will help its clients reduce operational costs and optimize the performance of their business applications and automate operational best practices in real time. The client roster of Tidal Software includes T-Mobile, General Mills and Microsoft.
