ABSTRACT
The article reports that the global Infusium hair care business of Procter & Gamble (P&G) has been acquired by Helen of Troy LTD., a consumer products company based in Texas. With the transaction, stock prices of Helen of Troy and P&G went up by 5 percent and 3 percent, respectively. According to Helen of Troy chairman and chief executive Gerald Rubin, the acquisition will improve their role in the health and styling products sector for consumers and professionals.
