ABSTRACT
The article deals with the decision of Tropicana to proceed with the Section 363 bankruptcy sale of its Atlantic City casino and resort as planned. The process will be overseen by retired Justice Secretary Gary S. Stein, the state-appointed trustee and conservator of the company. Authority was granted by the New Jersey Casino Control Commission to seek a stalking horse bid that allows the lenders of Tropicana to purchase the casino for at minimum 200 million U.S. dollars.
