ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of Canadian convenience store franchiser Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. to acquire ExxonMobil's On the Run convenience store franchise and 43 of the oil company's corporate-owned stores. A UBS analyst report claims that an estimated 120 million U.S. dollars will be paid by Alimentation Couche-Tard for the deal. Dealers and ExxonMobil distributors will operate the franchise stores.
