The article reports on the technology adopted by Qinetiq Ltd. to make a monitoring system that may be able to track thousands of targets in the U.S. It mentions that the technology would be helpful for peace-keeping forces who want to gather useful evidence from an incident with the use of futuristic system. It further states that instead of employing a sensor array, a special mask with distributed holes passing trough it and an image processing to picture a scene is used.
