ABSTRACT
The article reports on the study conducted by the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) which indicates that mass transit systems and its passengers are still vulnerable from terrorist attacks in 2009. According to GAO, Transportation Security Administration (TSA) should allow more sharing of its security systems with other government agencies. Nearly all city transit systems are not currently allowing their security management to be handled by law enforcement agencies.
