ABSTRACT
The article reports on the possibility that U.S. President Barack Obama will support the move of the Congress to revise the Real ID bill to Pass ID in 2009. The Real ID bill, which costs four billion dollars to implement, provides more security to driver's licenses offered to 245 million Americans in 2017. However, the Pass ID package allows funding by federal grant to be cheaper to use and will require no new databases for states to store information.
