ABSTRACT
The article discusses the U.S. Air Force Instruction (AFI) 21-101 and the Aircraft Equipment and Maintenance Management metrics. The management metrics has been used by maintenance leaders to improve the performance of maintenance organizations, equipment, and people. Meanwhile, AFI 21-101 presents several attributes for metrics including accurate and useful for decisionmaking, consistent to goals and standards, and well-defined process.
