ABSTRACT
The article reports on the move of Skandia Asset Management to seek clarification on retail distribution review (RDR) proposals in helping re-registration of assets in Great Britain. It highlights the opinion of Peter Jordan, head of proposition marketing, regarding the current no-cost activity of RDR since fund rebates and trail commission cover the costs of the platform and adviser. However, RDR is looking to stop both rebates and commission which prompted Jordan to suggest options.
