ABSTRACT
The article reports on the decision by insurance company Friends Provident PLC in rejecting the proposals made by Resolution by offering cash and shares to Friends in 2009 in Great Britain. Friends claimed that the proposals are not productive in many ways including the structure arrangement stipulated in the proposals. Friends is also concerned on the proposal of Resolution in contracting out some of their management operations to Resolution Operations.
