ABSTRACT
The article reports that the motorsports team Triple Eight has started building a pair of Commodores in preparation for its controversial switch to Team Holden in 2010. Triple Eight will join HRT as a factory-backed team, swapping its unbranded Ford Falcons for Holden-funded Commodores. Holden has also extended its backing of HRT as the official factory team until the end of 2012, securing concurrent agreements with V8 racing's most successful and popular teams.
