ABSTRACT
The article reports on the assertions of the Financial Services Authority (FSA) that it is not responsible for dictating individual bankers' bonuses in Great Britain. FSA chief executive Hector Sants asserted that the size of individual payments to bankers is not a condition for the regulator. Commenting on the issue, Baronworth Investment Services Ltd. director Colin Jackson asserted that publicly-owned banks receiving bonuses is an issue for the British government, not FSA.
