ABSTRACT
The article reports on the efforts of the hospice representatives to educate legislators on the effects of removing the budget neutrality adjustment factor in the U.S. in 2009. In April, a Capitol Hill Day was sponsored by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), where senators and representatives assembled. Jonathan Keserling, vice president of public policy for NHPCO, states that Virtual Hill Day was an organized attempt of continuing the efforts initiated in April.
