The article discusses the restoration of the former Trans-Canada Airlines (TCA) L1049G Super Constellation CF-TGE aircraft undertaken by Empire Aero Center (EAC) in its Rome, New York maintenance and overhaul facility. An elaboration on the history of the airline services of the CF-TGE and when it was utilized as a restaurant and conference hall when it was re-registered as CF-RNR is presented as well as the trips taken to transfer it to the EAC facility. Details of the restoration along with photographs of the aircraft are also presented.
