The article reports that during the Gay Marketing Masterclass seminar, the World Travel Market (WTM) will ask gay and lesbian (G&L) holidaymakers about the way they would like to be marketed. The G&L market is growing in importance during the global financial crisis because it is showing more resilience than the heterosexual market. It has been established by a U.S. research which shows that more than half of gay consumers (55%) plan to spend as much on travel in 2009 as they did in 2008.
