ABSTRACT
The article discusses research being done on disease activity in childhood and adult onset of systematic lupus erythemotosus (SLE). It references a study by scientists from the University of California published in the journal "Arthritis Care and Research." Key findings indicated that the average disease duration for the childhood SLE and adult SLE groups was 16.5 and 13.4 years. The research involved eight hundred and eighty five adults.
