ABSTRACT
The article provides information on the various species of Lindmania vinotincta. The genus Lindmania is made up of about 40 species which are entirely found on the upland and highland regions of the Guyana Shield. Lindmania vinotincta was discovered in Sierra de Lema in central-eastern Bolìvar state, Venezuela last April 2005. The article also details the general appearance and shows captured photos and illustrations of the plant and its flowers.
