ABSTRACT
The article presents views of Andreas Gerstenberger, executive vice president of Continental AG, on looking at tire business in this rough economy. He said that dealers, distributors and manufacturers will have to take market share from someone to be the biggest single tire market on the planet. He told tire dealers attending Continental Tire North America Inc.'s recent Gold Dealer meeting that net sales through Gold dealers have increased 184 percent between 2006 and 2008.
