Robbins purchases Biltrite site

The article reports that Robbins LLC has purchased Biltrite Group's Findlay, Ohio, custom mixing and calendering operation to expand its capacity while giving it a base in Northwest Ohio. Steve Saucier, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Robbins, said the deal is scheduled to close on August 10, 2009. According to Saucier, there are no plans to make personnel cuts, but a final determination won't be made until the transition to Robbins from Biltrite is completed.
