ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs related to the travel industry in Great Britain. The annual London showcase was held by Fairmont Hotels and Resorts Inc. at the Paramount Club, Centre Point. At the Visit USA ball, Jo Booth, deputy features editor of the journal "Travel Weekly", was praised by band members at the Sheraton Hotel in London. Larry Hagman, popularly known as Dallas' favorite cowboy J.R. Ewing, inaugurated the new Gold River Hotel at PortAventura.
