ABSTRACT
The article reports on the interest of the staff on the new flexible benefits plan and online reward statements (TRS) launched by the global healthcare and medical research firm Abbott. The flex scheme offers staff for extra benefits and allows the employees to buy and sell . A password-protected , company -branded website is provided to the staffs to gain access to the new scheme. According to Amanda White, Abbott's Great Britain HR director, the plans serve as an attraction and retention tool.
