ABSTRACT
Develops and investigates large-area x-ray sources for absolute soft-x-ray line intensity measurements to deduce elemental concentrations and parameters of magnetically confined plasmas. Deduction of the quantum efficiency values of numerous elements for different line mission per incident electron; Desirability of having an absolutely calibrated x-ray source.
