Demonstrates the design and implementation of a fiber-optic-bundle beam delivery system for particle image velocimetry applications. Demonstration that when a single fiber is used in the beam delivery system, a compromise exists between the maximum transmittable power and the quality of the output beam; Benefit in using a bundle of fibers rather than a single fiber.
