The cluster formation of hydrogen cyanide (HCN) in carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) matrix was studied by IR and far IR spectroscopy. We report on three experiments on carbon tetrachloride subjected to extreme conditions. In the first experiment, Raman spectra of CCl4 were acquired up to 28 GPa.
