ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the importance of applying performance-based logistics (PBL), wherein vendors or suppliers are involved from support to delivery of performance in 2009. It states that successful PBL that ensures enhanced military readiness is based on secured financing and management of priorities and resources. It cites that the main advantage of a PBL-based approach is that instead of managers controlling the resources, vendors takes the responsibility of controlling priorities.
