The article features the story of a U.S. Coast Guard's search and rescue operation (SAR) of the Navy Sailors who crashed their patrol aircraft Lockheed P-3 Orion into the ocean in the Bering Sea off Aleutian Islands with the help from Soviet trawlers and the U.S. Navy in 1978. It states that seven Coast Guard members aboard the CG 1500 Hercules aircraft responded to the emergency call. The aircraft managed to guide the Soviet trawler Mys Sinyavin to the crash site and rescue ten survivors.
