ABSTRACT
The article discusses several leadership imperatives needed to adjust amidst change and discontinuity. Leaders are prompted to challenge the status quo, referring to traditional practices, procedures and assumptions, and retain those that can be used in the future. The development of leaders should be made at every level since dispersed leadership is expected to be the kind of leadership in the future.
