ABSTRACT
The article discusses various issues affecting human resources (HR) in Great Britain as of May 2009. According to survey findings from Mercer, only 51 percent of organisations around the world have a policy to manage a possible flu pandemic. It has been revealed that a helter skelter in Sheffield, England which cost the taxpayer a big amount of money is now hardly used. Boumemouth Council was accused of being heavy handed after it suspended employees for circulating an email joke regarding Viagra.
