ABSTRACT

The article discusses a survey by the Association for Information and Image Management 2009 in the U.S. The survey found that some organizations have no policy that deals with legal discovery while 40 percent of companies might need back-up tapes to find electronic mails (emails) that are important in legal actions. The survey also revealed that two-thirds of respondents access mails on the move and about 28 percent access their work-related emails on weekends or while on vacation.
