ABSTRACT
The article reports that Credit Suisse Group AG has approved 16 venture-capital companies for funding from the Venture Michigan Fund and 21st Century Investment Fund. Out of which seven are based outside Michigan. Ian Bund, founder of Plymouth Management Co. wants Michigan money to be spent in Michigan. Charles Rothstein, a member of the Michigan Strategic Fund board said the idea behind both funds was to diversify the state's economy.
