ABSTRACT
The article presents a discussion about the need for creativity for an event to be memorable. It is asserted that theming is a significant factor in various events such as product launches and exhibitions. The author notes that theming can make an event successful and can also aid in branding. Also mentioned is how the financial crisis negatively affected the industry but that events continue to be planned with smaller budgets and are associated with temporary escape from economic hardship.
