ABSTRACT
The article describes in detail dental procedures with the goal of relaying the importance of selected anatomic structures to periodontal surgery and restorative therapy. In this case, conventional periodontal surgical procedures were performed with the surgical field expanded to expose anatomical procedures. Details of the surgical technique employed for the mandibular arch and maxillary arch are described. Also discussed are periodontal and restorative considerations in the third molar region.
