ABSTRACT
The article informs that the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) has voted on June 29, 2009 to recommend President Barack Obama that a three-year duty should be enacted to counteract the disruption in the U.S. tire market caused by Chinese tire imports. However commissioner Deanna Turner Okun will recommend to Obama that no trade restrictions be levied against Chinese tire imports.
