Dynamic light scattering has been used to investigate the diffusional dynamics in very dilute polystyrene/poly(propylene oxide), PS/PPO, polymer blends. The dynamics of the E92B18/water system are studied by dynamic light scattering (DLS) in the liquid, soft gel, and hard gel phases. Both the liquid and the soft gel phases are micellar phases, although the structural order is higher in the soft gel phase than in the liquid phase. The hard gel...

This paper reports results of quantitative comparison between dynamic structure factors obtained experimentally and those calculated by using the Doi and Onuki (DO) theory for semidilute polymer solutions. The authors obtained the dynamic structure factors with dynamic light scattering (DLS)...

We report a dynamic light scattering study on protein suspensions of bovine lens homogenates at conditions (pH and ionic strength) similar to the physiological ones. Light scattering data were collected at two temperatures, 20 and 37 °C, over a wide range of concentrations from the very...

Time correlation functions of the scattered light intensity are studied in aqueous solutions of charged rod-like fd-virus (L=880 nm, d=6 nm) at various ionic strengths. The short time behavior of the correlation function is dominated by the static structure factor S(q) which is also...

Multi-line NO-LIF temperature imaging was applied to measure two-dimensional gas-temperature fields in a low-pressure, premixed flat-flame nano-particle generator during nano-particles synthesis. It was the first time that this calibration-free technique was applied in a low-pressure combustion...
