ABSTRACT
Studies the photoabsorption and ionization energies of nonstoichiometric clusters. Ionization potential measurements on clusters having compositions varying from pure metal to the ionic salt; Obtained photoabsorption spectra by heating mass selected clusters in a beam; Shape and width of the absorption peak.

Experimental investigation of the time and temperature dependences of the process of relaxation of excited silver chloride has been carried out by the method of a photostimulated burst of luminescence. It is found that the relaxation process can be divided into two components, the rates of which...

We report on a new implementation and first numerical tests of the fourth-order algebraicdiagramatic construction [ADC(4)] propagator method for K-shell ionization in molecules. We investigate numerically the photionization of diamond irradiated by 800 nm intense 30fs laser pulse. We find that ionization depends sensitively on the characteristics of the substrate band structure and that the electron yield changes non-monotonically with the increase of the laser...

A multicycle chronoammetry with a rotating disc electrode with a ring (RRDE) enables one to experimentally discriminate between the partial currents of the substrate metal ionization, anodic formation of the oxide, and chemical dissolution of the oxide in the summary polarization current of the...

We have realized a high-resolution time-of-flight mass spectrometer combined with a magneto-optical trap. This paper analyses grounding electrode ionization as a cause of grounding impedance nonlinearity. Ionization is a very complex and nonlinear phenomena, and as such is difficultly modeled. To make a ionization model, it is necessary to use specifics implification. ION.GR model, used for this...

Chaotic dynamics in open systems produces fractals. This can be seen, for example, in the ionization of an electron from a hydrogen atom in applied parallel electric and magnetic fields. We summarize some of our recent work on the order that can be found in these fractals.

A 20 × [Fe(20 Å)/Cr (12 Å)]/MgO structure excited by an ultrasonic wave was investigated by polarized neutron reflectometry. It was found that magnetic domains oscillate and their effective size decreases in weak magnetic fields. In close-to-saturation fields, a magnetic lattice is...
