ABSTRACT
The article discusses the morphology and the history of the effort to transform Belmar, a suburb outside the city of Denver, Colorado. It states that the history of the transformation was documented through figure ground drawings and its morphology is directly confronted through transformations important areas such as streets and building typologies which are essential in generating a new kind of urban order. The article also features drawings and architectural sketches during the process of transforming the suburb.
