ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the knitted artworks of knitwear designer Liz Collins in the U.S. Collins studied at the Rhode Island School of Design (RSID), where she also taught machine knitting. It states that she coordinated with artists James Coviello, John Bartlett and Gary Graham in the creation of knitted objects, which feature designs that aim to reduce factory waste and promote recycling.
