ABSTRACT
The article reports on the study conducted by U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) that examined the role of the Dept. of Defense (DOD) in chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and high-yield explosives (CBRNE) consequence management efforts. GAO has found that DOD has not integrated its CBRNE consequence management plans with other government plans since the Integrated Planning System was incomplete. DOD has also made progress in providing funding and equipment for its efforts.
