ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the ability of U.S. President Barack Obama and legislators Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid to control both the executive power and the federal legislature. He says that Obama, Pelosi and Reid can pass any legislation they want such as the government-funded health care. He predicts that Obama will introduce another stimulus package after his first failed to boost the employment rate. He adds that the Democrats are opposing legislation from Republicans that would subject the Federal Reserve to transparency.
