ABSTRACT
The article discusses the significance of salary sacrifice scheme. It is inferred that the strategy is used when an employee's terms and conditions as related to renumeration are varied in return for a non-cash benefit. Data related to the topic include pension contributions payed by the employers and sufficient information for the employees about the programme. Overall, successful communication of the benefits of opting for salary sacrifice results in a high take-up rate from employees.
