ABSTRACT
The article reports on the issue of equity release as the solution of the impending crisis of the long-term care for the elderly in Great Britain. According to Safe Homes Income Plans director general Andrea Rozario, equity release becomes a vital source of funding for Great Britain's ageing demographic. She added that the changing long-term care market will have a dramatic impact on people's acceptance and understanding for equity release in order to drive this sector forward.
