Training still key to cruise sales

The article reports that training is important for cruise lines, even at the time of recession. As stated, making sure agents know and understand their product is vital for cruiselines, which still rely on the trade for more than 90% of their sales. The single source of training for agents is offered by the Association of Cruise Experts, which has about 3,000 agency members, and offers everything from online training to ship visits and Learning at Sea events.
