The article reports that the no-frills airlines are going for increased promotions which is boosting late package sales in the travel sector. As per the company youtravel.com, airlines are being forced to lower prices in the late sales period, in contrast to their traditional pricing model of hiking up prices nearer departure. This has reportedly enabled cheaper air fares to be sold alongwith available bedstock to provide better-priced deals.
