ABSTRACT
Examines the propagation loss of optical waveguides index imaged in a poly(cyclohexylsilyne) (PCHS) film. Measurement of propagation loss through photo-oxidative cross linking with ultraviolet exposure; Comparison with the experimental estimate of PCHS bulk propagation loss; Use of Metricon 2100 prism coupler for waveguide array wafer analysis.
