ABSTRACT
The article reports that railway engineering company ZOS Vrútky in Slovakia will supply 12 Class 860 three-car inter-regional diesel multiple units to passenger operator, ZSSK. According to the article, the new Class 860 will be based partly on the six Class 840 two-car GW 2/6 DMUs delivered in 2003. The new trains will offer 177 seats plus space for bicycles and prams, among others.
