ABSTRACT
Examines a wideband electronically tunable integrated magneto-optic frequency shifter at X band. Disadvantages of acoustic-optic and magneto-optic (MO) diffraction based waveguide frequency shifters; Frequency shifting scheme utilizing a single MO Bragg diffraction; Use of a sweep oscillator in providing the reference voltage.
